All students and staff have the right to equal opportunities and we will ensure that they reach their potential regardless of age, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation or any disability.
We recognise and value the many diverse kinds of people reflected within our college community and celebrate the fact that everyone is unique and special.
We will ensure that individuals are included regardless of their differing needs in order that their experience during their time at college, whether studying or working, is both positive and beneficial.
Birmingham Metropolitan College celebrates Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and it’s our aim to ensure that both students and staff have the right to equal opportunities. The Equality Act (2010) states that no student or member of staff should be treated less favourably or badly because of a particular characteristic.
