Business Administration - Advanced Apprenticeship

LEVEL 3

What will I need?

5 GCSEs at grade A*-C to include English and Mathematics

OR an Apprenticeship NVQ in Business Administration

A work placement is needed for Apprenticeship programmes.

How long is the course?

One year

What will I do?

The programme consists of completing two compulsory units:

  • Carry out your responsibilities at work
  • Work within your business environment

Plus four other units:

  • A Technical Certificate in Business Administration
  • Completion of an Induction Workbook
  • Key Skills–Application of Number–Level 2
  • Key Skills – Communication – Level 3

How will I be taught?

Lessons and lectures are underpinned by tutorial support and seminar presentations, assignments, individual study, group discussion, projects and Interactive Learning Technologies (ILT)

You will attend College on a day-release basis for traditional classroom tuition with some workshop assistance for Key Skills. Assignments, self-study and practical onthe- job training, which is assessed, with the resulting evidence being used in your portfolio for final accreditation

How will I be assessed?

Ongoing assessment of coursework, projects and formal examinations

Where will it take me?

An Advanced Apprenticeship offers full employed status upon commencement in the workplace. Successful completion of the Apprenticeship will equip you to work in an administrative capacity at supervisory level.
