Fees may not be applicable if the student falls into one of the following categories:
- The student is progressing to year 2 of their course and was 18 on 31 August 2010, at the start of their first year - no fees payable
- It is the students first full level 2 qualification – will still need to pay college registration fee and examination fee
- The student is aged between 19 and 24 and the course is their first full level 3 qualification – will still need to pay college registration fee and examination fee
- Enrolling on an entry level or level 1 course where the aim is to progress to a level 2 qualification in the future – will still need to pay college registration fee and examination fee
- The student is claiming:
- Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
- UnwagedDependent Of Above
- EmploymentSupport Allowance
- UnwagedDependent of Above
Will still need to pay college registration fee and examination fee - Offender Serving Sentence In the Community – will still need to pay college registration fee and examination fee
