4 GCSEs at grade A*-E to include Mathematics, English and Science

How will I be taught?

This is a practical work-related course. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and practical experiments.

How will I be assessed?

The BTEC First Diploma has no examinations. The qualification is moderated by the EDEXCEL exam board and is assessed through the submission of written reports and practical assignments through continuous assessment. However, this means that you will be working towards a qualification from the moment you have your first lesson and should not therefore be considered an ‘easier option’ as you will need to be self-motivated, organised and submit written reports on a regular basis.
