4 GCSEs at grade A*-D
OR BTEC Introductory Certificate in Travel and Tourism
Evidence of appropriate experience working within the Travel and Tourism industry (with good general qualifications)

One year - Full Time

BTEC First Diploma in Travel and Tourism

This Edexcel qualification includes:

  • European Tourist Destinations
  • The Travel Industry
  • Customer Service in Travel
  • UK Travel Destinations
  • Exploring Marketing in Travel
  • Planning Visits

You will be offered a range of additional qualifications such as:
NCFE Certificate in Customer Service for: Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Tourism
Including:

  • Role Play
  • Working with special needs students and customers
  • Exploring cultures and languages

Overseas Resort Representative
Oral skills as an overseas resort representative including:

  • Welcome meetings to customers
  • Coach transfers with microphone skills
  • Face-to-face customer communication
  • Creative visual displays

Customer Service

You are required to independently maintain part time employment which involves working with customers, throughout your course. You will work directly with customers through your employment and gain real experiences of dealing with customers within the workplace. You will gain evidence from your work placement assessed by the subject lecturer.
