Alton Towers – Year 1 residential Visit

The beginning of April saw 11 Travel students, head for the thrills and spills of Alton Towers Theme Park. The visit was enhanced by an overnight stay at the Alton Towers hotel with dinner in the new Splash Landings Hotel across the way.

The students enjoyed 2 days of fun and were able to apply the knowledge from their visit into their coursework.

They were given a talk on business and marketing in order to help with an assignment based on competitive advantage.

The students represented the college really well and thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
