Students Visit Harvey World Travel

On Friday 16th November a group of travel students on the BTEC level 3 travel course, visited the Harvey World Travel agent inside the Virgin megastore at Merry Hill.

The students were given a talk from National Training Manager, Nicci Harper on customer service, working in the industry and recruitment and training policies.

It was a really good opportunity for students to get an insight to how a travel agent works and the opportunities within.

Students were very impressed at the idea of resort visits, meeting new customers and developing their interest in travel to a more long haul specialism.

The students can now put the theory into practise in the classroom as part of their customer service assessment in dealing with customer needs in a travel environment.
