Holiday Rep Flies In

Ex Stourbridge College student Luke Bishop revisited college to pass on his experience to budding travel students. Luke returned to speak to our Level 2 group to discuss Customer Service within his role as a Holiday Rep.

Luke left the college in 2007 and went straight out to Crete to work for Thomas Cook as a holiday rep. His job has taken him to Greece, Turkey and Spain and he kindly came back to college to talk about his experiences with the students.
Luke gave an insight into the role of a holiday rep including job role, perks, interview and selection process as well as heavy emphasis on customer service which liked into the Level 2 NCFE qualification.

The students enjoyed a Q+A session finding out more about the job and company and were able to link into their studies. Luke will be re-visiting us in the spring to carry out some practical activities with students including Welcome Meetings and Coach Transfer demonstrations
