Staff Profiles

Rachael Aston

Gained a HND in Business & Tourism at Birmingham College of Food & Tourism. Became a Manager at Going Places working in the Retail sector of the Travel Industry and completed a number of industry qualifications including a teaching qualification. Rachael is now the Programme Manager for the Business, Travel & Retail Department therefore spreads her time across the associated courses. She also co-ordinates the Level 3 provision in Travel as well as lecturing across the Travel, Tourism and Retail provision.

Claire Biggs

Claire gained a degree in Tourism Business management at the College of Food before going onto work for a tour operator as a resort rep. She has a variety of experience within the travel industry including tourist information, event management, selling flights/holidays and hotel reception. She then returned to college of food and gained a teaching qualification and now teaches full time on the travel courses here at Stourbridge

Kate Davies

Gained a BA Hons in travel & tourism management from the University of Wolverhampton. Kate worked as a Holiday Representative for 3 years and in retail travel as a travel consultant for 4 years.
