Video: ATC - The Plan

A two minute animated movie showing the rise of Stourbridge College's ATC campus from an architect's plan to the finished construction.

Stourbridge College's Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) was opened in September 2001 and has been attracting growing numbers of construction and built environment students ever since.

'The Plan' was made by two members of staff at the college who were asked to make a video for the ATC opening ceremony in 2001. Web developer Tony Wilmore came up with the concept for the piece and did the animation work. His colleague Neil Sambrook created the initial 3D computer model of the ATC building from which the project developed.

The aim of the video was to celebrate construction and the built environment in a way that highlighted the arrival of the ATC as a centre of learning for the construction industry.
