Public Access to Corporation Meetings
Members of the public who wish to attend a Corporation meeting are requested to contact the Clerk to the Corporation in the first instance, either in writing or by email.
The Clerk will arrange meeting access and the circulation of related papers. The Corporation is committed to openness and accountability and will make every effort to meet access requests. However, requests to attend part or all of a meeting may be refused on the grounds of confidentiality, consistent with statutory provisions and as set out in the Corporation’s Standing Orders.
No person other than a member of a Committee and the Clerk to the Corporation is entitled to attend meetings of a Committee except at the invitation of that Committee.
The advice given to the Corporation by the Governance & Search Committee is contained in the minutes of the Corporation meetings.
