A champion of customer service, Amanda has extensive experience in community involvement and has been involved in a number of local fundraising activities and events. She is married with two children.

John has had a varied career, specialising in SME, Corporate, Government and not-for-profit organisations. He has spent more than 15 years working in senior commercial management roles with organisations such as Liverpool Football Club PLC, Stena Line, Sports Council for Wales, McDonalds and the World Special Olympics.

Lynette has been the Principal at Stourbridge College for six years and has a teaching background in Business Studies, Management and Economics. With over 30 year’s experience of working within Further Education, she is also a Governor at the University of Wolverhampton, Vice President of the Dudley Chamber of Commerce and a Director on the board of UCAS representing England. Lynette is married with a son.

Living locally in Kingswinford, David has, for 11 years, been a Regional Director for Business in the Community, a not-for-profit organisation. As one of the Prince’s business-led charities the organisation stands for responsible business, advising, supporting and challenging members to create a sustainable future for people and the planet and to improve business performance. David has a teaching background but has also run his own business. He retired as Chair of the Tipton Education Fund last September after 10 years and is married with three children.

Rishma is Deputy Director of the International Centre at the University of Wolverhampton, having started her career as a lecturer in Economics over twenty years ago. She enjoys reading, listening to music and cooking as well as world travel.

Regional Managing Director at Mansell, based in Stourbridge, Steve has over thirty years experience in the construction industry having worked at Willmott Dixon and John Laing. Local to the area, Steve graduated from Aston University and is interested in all sports. He is also a keen charity fundraiser.

Julia is an employment lawyer at George Green LLP Solicitors. An experienced tribunal advocate with expertise in disability discrimination, she has worked with clients from both the private and public sector. Julia has a passion for medieval literature, but also enjoys the theatre and has an interest in classic cars.

Currently living in Amblecote, Tim has over twenty years experience in the recruitment industry. As Employment Lead for the Heantun Housing Association he works with a variety of programmes to secure employment for a broad section of the local community in and around the Black Country.

A local man, Dennis lives in Pedmore and is Director of the Dudley Community Partnership, providing a vital link between central government policy and local response to it. A former West Midlands police officer he was promoted to Police Commander in 1996 responsible for all aspects of policing activity. Dennis is a youth team coach at Oldswinford cricket club and is married with a young family.

Eve Haddow is from Stourbridge and is currently studying three A Levels at Stourbridge College – Maths, Law and Communications & Culture. In her spare time she helps out at Birmingham Homeless Charity, St Basil’s and is also a member of the Green Party. Her ambition is to go to Oxford University to study a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Julie Jasper sits on the Black Country Cluster and Dudley Primary Care Trust Boards as Non Executive Director. She’s also Managing Director of Westlands Associates, a Management Consultancy company. Julie started her career in finance as an auditor with Sandwell and South Staffordshire Councils before being appointed Assistant Manager at KPMG. She then worked at Travel West Midlands, part of National Express Group, for fifteen years, in a variety of positions before being appointed Operations Director. Julie likes to travel and loves pop trivia. She lives in Wollaston with her husband and son, Alex.

David is a Director of Edge Public Solutions which provides consultancy advice to the public sector. David was previously a Director at Fujitsu advising on Local Government and the wider public sector operating in communities. He started his career in accountancy in local government, then became an equity partner with Bentley Jennison (now part of RSM Tenon), and was MD for Tribal Local Government Consulting before joining Fujitsu. David has worked in the education sector as a consultant and has been a governor of a number of Further Education colleges. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and a member of the Institute of Directors. In his spare time he enjoys rugby and family history.

Currently Chairman of the Solihull NHS Care Trust, Jenni has a wealth of experience in directorship roles with a number of key public service organisations. She has worked for the Highways Agency as Organisational Development Director, the Pensions Service as National Change Director and was Regional Director, West Midlands, at the Benefits Agency.

Tracey is a Teaching & Learning Coach at Stourbridge College as well as an Accounts Lecturer and VI Trainer. She started her career in teaching ten years ago after managing a McDonald’s outlet. She has been a Governor at Batchley First School and likes gardening, running, art and mountain biking in her spare time.

Tim lives in Brierley Hill and was born and raised in Stourbridge. He is currently Chairman of Dudley Infracare LIFT Ltd but has had a varied career starting his working life as a teacher before moving to Dudley Council where he chaired the Finance Committee for seven years and became Leader, driving forward change in local government. Tim was also a local councillor for fifteen years and has served on several boards. He is committed to the promotion and regeneration of the area voluntarily chairing the Brierley Hill Town Centre Partnership and facilitating the new Brierley Hill Civic Society.

Matt is currently General Manager at the Copthorne Hotel in Brierley Hill and has 17 years experience working in the hospitality trade, starting his career at the age of 18 as a concierge and progressing to the role of Operations Manager for the Village Hotel in Bournemouth before becoming General Manager for the Novotel in Wolverhampton. Matt is currently Chairperson for the Black Country Hoteliers Association, Chairman of the Wolverhampton City Marketing Partnership and a Board Member on the Wolverhampton City Chamber.

Fiona lives locally in Wollaston and has worked in the accounts department at Stourbridge College for 5 years, beginning her career as an Assistant Accountant, before becoming a Cost Accountant and being promoted to the role of Management Accountant. In her spare time she likes to keep fit and enjoys horse riding.
