Using the Learning Resources Centres

Registering

You will need your Student ID card and will be required to complete a Learning Resources Registration form before any items can be borrowed or computers booked.

Your Student ID Card is your passport to the Learning Resources Centre.

Loan Facilities

You must always present your Student ID Card when borrowing items.

You may borrow up to 6 items for 2 weeks.

Some reference material may be borrowed overnight. These items must be returned before 10.00 am the following day.

Reserving Material

Items on loan may be reserved. Please reserve any items required with a member of the Learning Resources Staff.

Returning Material

Please return all items on time.

When returning material to the Learning Resources Centre, please wait for the items to be returned on the computer. You are responsible for all items on your record until they are returned on the computer.

Overdue Material

All items that are 2 days late will receive an overdue letter requesting you to return or renew the material concerned.

If you do not comply with this request you will be unable to borrow any further material or book any computers.

Further letters will be sent if the material is not returned.
