In partnership with the University of Wolverhampton, Stourbridge College is offering supervised teaching experience to students on the University’s Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) course.
The first students to benefit from the partnership in this academic year arrived at the Hagley Road campus this week.
The students, who are training to be college lecturers, will be observing experienced teachers and will eventually teach some classes as part of their training.
Pauline Hollis, Director of Marketing and Customer Services said:
"The partnership with Wolverhampton University has been formed to
extend the
College’s role in the provision of Further and Higher Education
and demonstrates our commitment to teaching and learning for all."
