Harriet puts style in Vogue
From art and fashion studies to styling models for Vogue magazine is the amazing leap made by Stourbridge student Harriet Lee.

Harriet, aged 18, has studied Art and Design at Stourbridge College, completing a First Diploma in Art and Design and now a National Diploma in Art & Design.
Whilst at college she has also worked part time assistant at Umberto Giannini Hairdressers.
Recognising her interest and college work in fashion design, they offered her the opportunity to work at the Clothes Show at the NEC Birmingham and to style the models.
Following on from this, Harriet was asked to style clothes for various fashion shoots and she was part of the team that produced images for a campaign to re-launch the Umberto Giannini products nationally in Boots stores. For this, she selected clothes for a model who was featured on the cover of Vogue magazine.
Harriet has recently made it to the finals of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy competition, achieving second place in the Men’s Image Award. Her work for this involved dressing and styling the makeup for a male model.
Harriet said: “Studying at Stourbridge College has helped me understand the fashion industry and how to develop ideas and create design concepts. It is great that I have been able to use this in my job too.”
