Mark is Civil Engineering Technician of the Year
The Institution of Civil Engineering held their annual Awards Ceremony at the Millennium Point Think Tank recently and Stourbridge College student Mark Waterhouse was presented with an award for the Technician of the Year.
Mark Waterhouse – Technician of the Year
The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is an organisation that exists to promote and progress civil engineering and to encourage innovation and excellence in the profession, worldwide.
Mark who is 20 years old and from Birmingham, works as an Assistant Highways Technician for the Solihull based ARUP Group, he is studying for a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering at the Advanced Technology Centre, Brierley Hill.
Mark said: “I am delighted to receive this award and being recognised for my work, which is down to outstanding tutors and excellent provisions at the ATC. After my HND I will be progressing onto a Degree in Civil Engineering.”
