Adult Courses Give Food For Thought

Stourbridge College is making shopping for adult courses easy by distributing its new Adult Course Prospectus in local supermarkets - giving more mature students some food for thought.

The new Prospectus offers a wide variety of part time and vocational courses ranging from art & design, computing and construction through to cookery, horticulture and floristry at Stourbridge College for people over the age of 19.

Derek Danks, Marketing Co-ordinator at Stourbridge College, said: “Shopping is the big thing at this time of year with Christmas nearly upon us, and the New Year is traditionally the time that people start to think about what changes they would like to make in life. We thought that distributing our part time Adult Course Prospectus through local supermarkets would provide shoppers – and potential students – some real food for thought about what they might be able to achieve in 2009.”

Over 1,000 Adult Course Prospectuses will be available in Sainsbury’s at the Merry Hill Centre and Withymoor Village, Tesco at Burnt Tree Island and Morrisons in Kingswinford for four weeks over Christmas. Anyone interested in part time courses should contact the college by calling 01384 344508 or order one on-line at www.stourbridge.ac.uk.
