The band, made up of Ken and three other ex-Stourbridge College lecturers, was formed six years ago. It’s billed as the ‘ultimate tribute to four decades of classic rock’ and is one of the most popular bands on the rock club and biker rally/custom bike show circuit.

All proceeds from the gig, including the band’s fee, will be used to purchase a park bench which will have a plaque dedicated to the memory of former Stourbridge College staff who passed away during 2008 – Jim Waite, IT Manager, Joan Petford, Catering Assistant and Heather Linley, Director of Curriculum, Professional & Quality Development.

Ken said: “We wanted to do something to remember staff and thought that a bench is a fitting tribute. We hope to get the place rocking and hope that people will come along and make a small donation. There will also be a raffle and some surprise appearances by other Stourbridge College members of staff.”

The gig starts at 8.30 pm and admission is free.
