The college will be showcasing these – and other new courses – at a special Apprenticeship Event at its Advanced Technology Centre, Waterfront Business Park, Brierley Hill on Thursday 9th July between 4.00 pm and 8.00 pm to offer advice and guidance to anyone leaving school interested in applying for an apprenticeship.

Lynette Cutting, Principal at Stourbridge College, said: “The national apprenticeship campaign endorsed by Sir Alan Sugar is still high on the priority list for getting young people trained with practical skills and working at the same time.

“We already have a number of traditional apprenticeships available at the college but have introduced a number of new and exciting courses which I’m sure will have a much broader appeal. Apprenticeships aren’t just about construction we also offer them in sport, retail, motor vehicle tyre fitting and customer service amongst others.”
