College Staff Success Climb
Fourteen members of staff from Stourbridge College took up the challenge of climbing Snowdon recently and were on top of the world to have bagged Wales’ biggest mountain.

The trip to climb ‘Britain’s busiest mountain’, 3,560 feet to the summit, was organised by Catering Manager, Paul Hayes, and he persuaded a mixture of seasoned climbers and novices to join him on the ascent during the college’s Staff Development week.
He said: “We had a great day out. The weather – which was clear blue skies and sunshine – was perfect for the ascent and the views from the top were incredible. Even the novices managed to make it to the top. Next stop will be Kilimanjaro!”
Staff shown on the photograph are Joanne Phillips, Lynsey Harper, Janet Lee, Cathryn Sellars, Jo Poliz, Christine Clarke, Steve Fitzer, Keith Williams, Matthew Forward, Robyn Singh, Helen Whitehouse and Paul and Richard Baines.
