Refreshing Change For College Brand
Stourbridge College has teamed up with local Wombourne based Black Country design agency, Italica Graphic Communication, to refresh its brand - and an eye catching new logo is all set to be rolled out from September.

Lynette Cutting, Principal, said: “Our existing logo has been around since the 1980s and, whilst it is recognisable, we wanted to move towards a more contemporary look which complements the way the college has developed and improved. We thought that keeping the ‘S’ was important in terms of local brand recognition and we were very pleased with the work that Italica did based upon the brief we gave them.”
Mike Allen, Managing Director at Italica Graphic Communication, said: “We were delighted to be chosen to design the brand refresh for Stourbridge College. In the main, college students are young and we wanted to create a logo which was both eye catching for a younger audience but still easily recognisable for people who know the tradition and history of the place.”
The new logo was chosen by Stourbridge College staff out of two short listed designs and will be rolled out internally and externally during the next academic year.
