A student on the BTEC First Diploma in Sport, Connor has already scored a hat trick – he plays for the college men’s A team, has been selected for the final squad of the English College’s Representative team and has also been selected for the English Schools (ESFA) squad.

Andy Glover, Sports Lecturer at Stourbridge College, said: “Connor is a real natural talent on the football field and it’s brilliant that he’s been spotted and asked to play for the England Under 18s team. Last year he had trials with West Bromwich Albion youth team and the club are currently monitoring his performance for the college and Dudley Town Football Club over the coming weeks.”

Connor said: “It’s really great to be able to study sports. I have always played football and it’s my dream to play professionally so it’s good to be able to broaden my sports knowledge. I’m really hoping that I score a goal when I go over to Spain and am hoping that it will be broadcast on Sky TV!”
