Outstanding Foundations For Art Course
Stourbridge College’s Foundation Diploma in Art & Design has been awarded an outstanding seal of approval by the prestigious University of the Arts London (UAL) incorporating Central St Martin’s School of Art, Chelsea School of Art, Camberwell College of Art, London College of Communication, Wimbledon College of Art and London College of Fashion.
UAL Awarding Body has approved Stourbridge College to deliver the UAL Foundation Diploma in Art & Design which is taught by staff at the renowned Longlands Centre in Stourbridge.
Patrick Caines, Programme Area Manager for Creative Industries, said: “The University of the Arts London is one of the UK’s best art universities. They only use outstanding provision and it’s wonderful that they have recognised the quality and consistency of Art & Design provision at Stourbridge College. We are the only local college they are using and they’ve even waived the joining fee because they’re keen to work with us.”
Nick Juba, Director of University of the Arts London Awarding Body, said: “Stourbridge College has an excellent reputation for its first class Art & Design teaching and has outstanding success rates. We are delighted to have begun to work with the College and very much look forward to building lasting relationships in the years to come.”
