The Students have organised ‘A Night at the River Rooms,’ booked the venue, booked the acts and promoted the gig themselves. The doors open at 8:30pm, entry is £2.00, guests are being asked to donate £3.00 on the night for two albums recorded by the group’s record company, Ouroaros Records. There will be over 13 bands and acts performing throughout the night; and the gig is expected to run till late.
Mark Perry, BTEC Music Technology Student, said “Everyone in the group has worked really hard to organise the gig, we have been spending a lot of time practicing and finalising set list details. We have already sold a lot of tickets to friends and family so we hope it’s going to be a huge success.”
Rebecca Attwood, Liam Duffield, Darragh Rafferty and Natasha Mortlock amongst other students on the course have organised the music concert as part of their final project.
