A Level Success Shows 100% Pass Rate
Stourbridge College has achieved 100% pass rates in 24 of its current A Level subjects with creative industries subjects painting a positive picture.

Popular subjects such as Art, Drama and Dance as well as World Development, Media and Communication & Culture achieved top marks as well as the more traditional subjects such as English Language & Literature, Sociology and French.
Lynette Cutting, Principal, said: “I’m delighted that all the hard work of students and staff has paid off - I’m really proud of their achievements. It’s not just traditional subjects like Geography and Biology that have been successful we are also still excelling in others including Art & Design, Film Studies and Music Technology.
Coupled with some excellent vocational qualifications results this year, Stourbridge College is most certainly proving to be the college of choice for young people who are keen not only to go on to university but to use their vocational training to go straight into employment or take up apprenticeships. ”

Dave Nolan, Chair of Governors at Stourbridge College, said: “Our results this year show how far the college has come in the last five years. Stourbridge College is now a popular choice for record numbers of students studying A Levels and our pass rates are testimony to our increasing levels of success.”
The college has achieved Best Performing College in the Black Country based on an average point score per student for the past two years and this year’s results will further improve success rates across the board.
