A New Perspective On Art

Stourbridge College mature students studying a Higher National Diploma in Fine Arts are putting on an exhibition which will give visitors a new perspective on art.

The exhibition has been planned by Louise Blakeway, Sherry Keysell and Steve Evans, focusing primarily on drawing and including a range of different approaches which highlight how contemporary practice has pushed the boundaries of what constitutes drawing.

A mixture of photography, print, textures and drawings will be exhibited as well as large scale drawings on tracing paper and the use of light boxes.

The exhibition will run from Thursday 17th March until Sunday 20th March 2011 between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm at Chawn Hill Church, Chawn Hill, Stourbridge, DY9 7JD.

Anyone interested in doing Art & Design at Stourbridge College’s brand new campus in Brierley Hill should log on to our eProspectus to check out the wide range of courses – including Photography A Level which is new for September 2011!
