Art Shows a Draw for Local People

Stourbridge College Art & Design students are putting on their End of Year Shows in June showcasing the work they’ve created during their courses this year – and it’s sure to be a draw for local people.

Art Show

The main shows will be held at the Upper Deckhouse, The Watefront, Brierley Hill daily between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm (Saturday until 2.00 pm) from Tuesday 7th June until Saturday 11th June. Students on the University of Arts London Foundation courses will be showcasing a range of designs, fashion, 3D, photography and art created during the course of their study programme.

Patrick Caines, Programme Area Manager at Stourbridge College, said: “Once again, our students have shown outstanding levels of creativity and this year’s exhibition has truly excelled all of our expectations and it’s a joy to be able to show off the talent we are nurturing at Stourbridge College. This is an exciting time for our students and the annual exhibition allows local people to see the results of having a leading art & design college in their area.”

Everyone welcome and entry is free. Thanks to Westfield for the use of the unit at The Waterfront for the Foundation Art exhibition. Higher National Diploma in Fine Arts students are also exhibiting work in G26 at the Longlands Centre from Wednesday 8th June until Friday 10th June – 10.00 am until 4.00 pm.
