FA Youth Cup with Budweiser
Third Qualifying Round

The Harriers Football Academy, in partnership with Stourbridge College, will look to continue their fine progress in this season’s FA Youth Cup with Budweiser as they meet Matlock Town at Aggborough on 19 October.

Harriers have already battled past two tricky matches, dispatching Nuneaton Griff in style before edging out Stone Dominoes in an extra-time thriller, to reach what is now the third and final Qualifying stage.

Up next is an encounter against Matlock for a place in the First Round proper – the stage at which Football League sides up to League One make their bow. What’s more, the draw has already been made for that round with the winners of this tie set to net a home clash with either Brighouse Town or Loughborough Dyamo.

It’s a big opportunity, therefore, to make further headway and potentially make a real impression on the competition in what is the partnership Academy’s first season.

The run has already captured the attention of the public – a fine turnout of over 100 supporters saw Harriers beat Stone in the Second Qualifying Round at Aggborough and hopes are high that an ever bigger crowd can get behind the youngsters this time around.

Be sure to make the trip on Wednesday night, 19 October for the 7:45pm kick-off to give Jerry Gill’s side your full support.  Admission is just £2.00.
