College Fit For Purpose

Stourbridge College is offering visitors the chance to win a £100 Westfield Voucher at its Open Events on Thursday 3rd November (6.00 pm until 9.00 pm) and Saturday 5th November (10.00 am until 2.00 pm) and prospective students for September 2012 will get their first glimpse of the new Hagley Road Fitness Suite which has just opened for students and staff.

Lynette Cutting, Principal at Stourbridge College, said: “We have invested £1m in a refurbishment programme at our Hagley Road Centre which has included building a brand new Fitness Suite for students and staff to use, including changing rooms and a range of high specification equipment. Prospective art and design students will also get to tour our newly opened £12m Art & Design Centre in Brierley Hill.”

Staff will be on hand to give visitors a guided tour of the centres so they can view the facilities on offer and speak to lecturers about the courses. For Art & Design courses visit the new Art & Design Centre, for Construction & the Built Environment visit the Advanced Technology Centre in Brierley Hill and for all other courses, including A Levels, visit the Hagley Road Centre. They will also get the chance to apply for courses online.
