On the right side for an acting treat

A drama group for people with learning difficulties performed in front of their biggest audience when hey were invited to the Birmingham International Convention Centre. Members of Side-by-Side were asked to open the eighth annual Association of Colleges Conference with a special performance.
The group, taught by Stourbridge drama teacher Susan Wallin, staged a 10 minute piece from their play The Wrong Garden. They are currently in rehearsals for the play which will be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival next August.
"The International Convention centre is probably the biggest stage the have ever performed on and they did a wonderful job" said Mrs Wallin "Their performance went down very well and all members of the group really enjoyed the event."
