Students get stage honours
Talented young actors with learning difficulties from Stourbridge College have walked away with two top awards from the Dudley Festival of Music, Dance and Drama.
The Side By Side Theatre Group entered two groups of students into the festival which was held at Dudley College on Saturday with both groups being classed as outstanding. Eleven students, aged between 20 and 40, took part in a dance and drama piece entitled the Weather Garden and 12 performed a 20 minute excerpt from a 45-minute drama called the Wrong Garden, picking up the Chairman's Trophy Cup.
